What are AI browser games?
An AI browser game is a game you play in a browser tab that was built with help from artificial intelligence. You don't download or install anything: open a link and start playing.
People usually mean one of two kinds of games when they search for the term.
1. Games coded by AI
A developer describes a game to an AI coding agent such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor or Grok. The agent writes most of the code, often in JavaScript with Three.js or plain HTML5 Canvas. The developer tests the game, gives feedback, and the agent keeps iterating.
This style is often called "vibe coding". Game jams such as Vibe Jam and the AI Browser Game Jam have produced hundreds of these games. Well-known examples include the multiplayer Flight Simulator, Three.js Quake and the Vibe Jam 2026 winner A Game About Capybaras Delivering Food.
2. Classic games ported to the browser
In October 2026, a widely shared post listed classic games running in the browser: Halo, Black Ops Zombies, Skate 3, Quake, GTA: Vice City and more. Many people started calling these "AI browser games" too, because developers increasingly use AI to help with ports, rewrites and decompilation.
Not every port used AI, though. Many rely on long-running open-source engines and WebAssembly, which compiles C and C++ code to run in a browser. Zadely labels a port as AI-assisted only when its developer says so.
How Zadely sorts them
Every game on Zadely carries one of two labels. AI-made means an original game whose code was mostly written by AI. Browser port means an existing game running on the web. Browse them separately under Made with AI and Browser ports, or see what's popular in Trending.
Are AI browser games safe and free?
Zadely only lists games that open as normal web pages, and our embedded player loads a game only after you press Play. Most of the games are free. Some ports, like Red Alert 2: Chrono Divide, ask you to load files from a copy of the game you own. Each game page says when that applies.
