Run a supermarket as a busy monkey. Grow produce, refill shelves, serve customers, and reinvest earnings in a bigger store.
Move to a crop or station to perform its task, then carry the goods to the correct shelf. Customers need stocked displays and a staffed checkout to complete purchases.
Use earnings to open more of the mart and improve the operation. Watch which task is slowing the shop down before buying the next expansion.
Monkey Mart is a supermarket management game by TinyDobbins. Your character moves between growing areas, shelves and checkout duties, turning a small food stall into a larger operation. New stations create more opportunities and more work to manage.
Monkey Mart opens on Poki. Move with WASD or the arrow keys and stand beside a station to work. Keep moving goods to the matching display and return to checkout when customers are waiting.
| WASD / Arrow keys | Move around the mart |
|---|---|
| Stand near a station | Perform the available task automatically |
An empty shelf does not always mean you need more production. First check whether goods are ready but waiting to be carried. If the shelf is full and customers are queuing, producing more of the same item will not fix the checkout delay.
Follow a product through the whole shop: where it is grown or made, where it waits, how it reaches the display and how the sale finishes. Spend on the slow stage rather than expanding a part of the system that is already keeping up.
| Problem in the mart | What to inspect first |
|---|---|
| Goods are ready but shelves keep emptying | Carrying capacity, travel time and which helper handles that route. |
| Work stops because a helper is asleep | Wake the helper and review the stamina option. |
| Customers wait beside full displays | Checkout coverage and the route taking you away from it. |
| Many new stations are open but poorly supplied | Stabilize the current product chain before opening another one. |
Opening a new selling area adds a supply route that must be maintained. Before paying for it, check whether your existing helpers and carrying capacity leave enough time for the extra work. A smaller shop with steady sales can be easier to improve than a larger shop with several stalled stations.
Many jobs start automatically when the character stands at the right station. Move into position and watch what the station needs.
Inspect the current bottleneck. If helpers or delivery routes cannot keep existing shelves stocked, another product may add work before it adds reliable sales.
Check the rest of the sale, especially whether customers are waiting for checkout. A stocked display is only one part of the supermarket loop.
Poki describes it as a single-player management game. Other monkeys in the mart are helpers rather than a promise of live co-op.
